LO2: Advertising and distribution

  The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D is a 3DS game made by Nintendo, the LOZ series is famous and extremely popular. The audience can access and buy this game online at the Nintendo online store, CEX, on eBay and Amazon. The 3DS has been discontinued by Nintendo and this 3D version of the game was released on the 13th of February 2015. This means lots of stores do not hold the game anymore. Argos and Game would have had the game when it was released. The audience can consume the game/media on the Nintendo 3DS. It has been advertised on TV and as a YouTube advert.     Technological convergence has had an impact on advertising. We can now have advertisements on our blackbox devices like our phone, tablet and so on which has also given us a wider range of advertising channels to use on the internet (social media, YouTube). They like to focus on social realism and they are based in Sheffield and London. they have joint ventures with ITV Global and they have shows on E4 and Sky Atlantic.  Warp have joint venture with New Regency Production too which is partly owned by Disney.

Cartoon Network is a commercial TV channel that has shows for kids. There are mainly entertainment cartoons on there for kids. The Amazing World of Gumball, Teen Titans Go!, Baby Looney Toons, Bing and Craig of the Creek are just a few of the cartoons on Cartoon Network for kids to watch. Commercial companies want to make money. Different types of shows: Documentaries Soap Opera Dramas Reality TV News Game shows Talk show Channel 4:   Types of programmes: On channel 4 there are informative, entertaining and educative programmes.
